The City of Strawberry Point thanks the Upper Mississippi Gaming Corporation for their incredible generosity last night. We also thank the hard-working and dedicated staff and volunteers across multiple departments who researched our needs and submitted grant requests.

Between the Police and Fire Departments, the Pool Committee, and Point Vision, more than $93,000 in grants were received from Upper Mississippi Gaming Corporation last night! Those grants will help maintain public safety and improve the City Pool and the Pickleball courts at Campbell Park. Upper Mississippi Gaming Corporation has provided transformative funding that will enrich our community for years to come, and we are very grateful. Please help us thank Upper Mississippi Gaming Corporation and our wonderful staff and volunteers who diligently pursued grant funding for these important projects!

Leaf Pickup: Just a reminder that when raking leaves to the curb, do not put them on the street. Rather, keep them on top of the curb, otherwise the truck may not be able to remove them. Thank you!

The City is implementing a text-message alert system for you to stay informed about a multitude of topics. The best part- you can pick and choose what you would like to be informed about. The system is 100% opt-in, and you will only get texts about topics that you choose. You can also opt out anytime you like. The functionality has recently been added to the website, and we anticipate starting to use the system by the end of the month.
