Josh Shapiro and PA Democrats have made Pennsylvania unaffordable:
❌ Electricity rates are up 15% this year, with more hikes to come
❌ 5th Highest tax burden in the nation
❌ 47th Ranked economy in the country

Stacy Garrity and Jason Richey want to change that:
✅ Cut utility bills by 15-20%
✅ Unleash Pennsylvania energy
✅ Cut property taxes by at least one-third
✅ Fast-track power generation to increase supply

Pennsylvania is the keystone of our nation. We should be leading the way in everything from energy generation to economic growth, but under Shady Josh Shapiro, things have only gotten worse.

This November, we have a chance to turn Pennsylvania around by electing Stacy Garrity and Jason Richey! 🇺🇸

Josh Shapiro has plenty to say about data centers lately.

But $5 million speaks pretty loudly.

You can’t condemn the industry in public while cashing its checks in private.

I recently toured the Susquehanna Valley Technical Institute in Sunbury with Dr. Lenaire Ahlum, executive director of the Susquehanna Valley Community Education Project, along with staff and board members.

SVTI currently offers approved programs in Certified Nursing Assistant training, Wood Manufacturing and Welding Technology, with hopes of adding additional programs in the future.

Workforce development and career-focused education are important parts of preparing Pennsylvanians for opportunities in skilled and technical fields, and I appreciated the opportunity to see the facility and learn more about SVTI’s plans for the future.

🚨🚨🚨 IT’S COVID ALL OVER AGAIN – BUT WORSE!!!

Governor Josh Shapiro & his Pennsylvania Department of Health are exploiting measles in an attempt to justify rewriting regulations to claw back all the tyrannical powers used by Tom Wolf in 2020 under his Covid disaster emergency order, only without the need to declare any disaster.

Those expanded regulatory powers would include, but not be limited to:

- Mask mandates
- Social distancing
- Surveillance and contact tracing
- Private access to students without parental or school approval
- Restricting attendance at funerals, etc.
- Warrantless entry into buildings
- Forced removal of individuals from buildings
- Warrantless access to private health information
- Undefined additional measures as defined only by the Department
- Authority to investigate and take action against a non-infectious “condition”
- Authority to define such “conditions”
- Authority to perform “surveillance, segregation, quarantine” of a person with said “conditions”

The last three are quite alarming, as some public health “experts” have cited political dissent, gun ownership, and “overly white protests” of mask mandates as threats to public health.

🚨🚨🚨BUT WAIT - THERE'S MORE!!!

The proposed regulations attempt to erase women, as the terms “pregnant woman” and “mother of a newborn” would be replaced with “pregnant or postpartum individual” throughout and the term “mother” would be replaced by “postpartum individual” in a separate instance.

Adopting these regulatory changes would make Pennsylvanians virtually powerless against Department of Health overreach, regardless of whether any disaster emergency has been declared.

This tyrannical partisan regulatory scheme is only a proposal as of now, but could be approved in a few short weeks. It is currently before the Independent Regulatory Review Commission (IRRC).

🔥🔥🔥WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT IT?

You can submit a public comment to IRRC via email. Public comments are all published and considered by IRRC during its review process.

The deadline for submitting public comments on this radical revamp of Department of Health regulations is September 21. Comment letters must be EMAILED to:

[email protected]
[email protected]

Your email should reference the following in the subject line:

Rulemaking #10-242: Communicable and Noncommunicable Diseases; IRRC #3490

I'll put a link to the full regulatory package in the comments below, where you can also peruse comments submitted by other Pennsylvanians.⬇️⬇️⬇️

I’m calling on the Shapiro administration to withdraw proposed Department of Health regulations reminiscent of COVID lockdown-era government policy that would infringe upon constitutional norms and civil liberties. You can join me by submitting your feedback.

As proposed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the regulations would allow government officials to institute school or community mask mandates, enter private residences without warrants and seek private health information without consent. The department also would have the authority to enter any school building to interview a student of any age in private, without notification to the parent or guardian, to gather information for contact tracing and partner services.

You can review the proposed regulations and previously submitted comments here:
https://www.irrc.state.pa.us/regulations/RegSrchRslts.cfm?ID=3505

Policies with such significant impacts on students, families and communities should be debated openly by the Legislature, not imposed through regulation. We learned important lessons about government overreach during COVID, and we should not repeat those mistakes.

The public can submit comments on the proposed regulations through Sept. 21 by emailing [email protected]. Please reference Rulemaking #10-242: Communicable and Noncommunicable Diseases; IRRC #3490.

Please take the time to review the proposal and make your voice heard before the Sept. 21 deadline.

Josh Shapiro can’t seem to decide where he stands on data centers.

First, he rolled out the welcome mat. Now, he’s criticizing the very industry he spent months championing.

Pennsylvanians deserve consistency, not a position that changes when the politics do!
