📢 PLEASE SHARE THIS POST so we can get this information to as many PA farmers as possible. **

Pennsylvania’s farmers are facing the effects of a devastating late spring freeze and we want you to know we are here for you and so is the USDA.

If your operation has been impacted, federal disaster assistance is available. Here’s where to start:

🌽Crop losses: If you have NAP coverage, report damage to your local FSA office within 15 days. If you have federal crop insurance, contact your agent AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

🌳Orchards & nursery trees: The Tree Assistance Program (TAP) offers cost-share assistance to replant or rehabilitate eligible trees, bushes, and vines. Apply within 90 days of the disaster event.

Visit http://farmers.gov or contact your local USDA Service Center to report losses and get started.

Our offices have heard from so many of you and we are fighting for Pennsylvania’s farming families. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our offices.

National Police Week is a time to reflect on the brave men and women who put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe. As the son of a police officer, I know firsthand the sacrifices our law enforcement officers and their families make every day.

House Republicans will always back the blue by giving them the tools they need to do their jobs safely. We are passing legislation to strengthen support for our dedicated law enforcement officials and increase penalties for those who harm them.

On Sunday, I attended the Warrior Run FFA banquet. I was proud to recognize three recipients of the Keystone Degree, the highest state level honor for Pennsylvania FFA members. Congratulations to Mackenzie Heyler, Noah Johnson and Delvin Arnold for earning this recognition.
