Commissioner Dianne Williams-Cox’s campaign has crossed the line by using shady developer-funded mailers to distort the accomplishments of former City Commissioner and Mayor Dot Inman-Johnson.

So we want to set the record straight.

📺⬇️ Watch this video to learn about Dianne’s failed promises and Dot’s historic record of service to our city.

🛑 Stop the Lake Jackson Annexation!

The choice for Tallahassee City Commission, Seat 5 is clear: A vote for Dianne is a vote FOR annexation, and a vote for Dot is a vote to STOP the annexation!

The Tallahassee City Commission’s proposed annexation will waste our hard-earned tax dollars to destroy historic North Meridian Road’s tree canopies, pollute the water of Lake Jackson communities, and increase traffic congestion for the Summerbrooke and Ox Bottom Manor neighborhoods.

Former City Commissioner and Mayor Dot Inman-Johnson is a proven leader running to STOP the proposed annexation, make it easier to get to work and school, and grow responsibly from Northside to Midtown.

Commissioner Dianne Williams-Cox VOTED IN FAVOR of advancing the annexation and WE MUST hold her accountable at the ballot box.

Thank you to Reverend Dr. R.B. Holmes Jr. and Bethel Missionary Baptist Church for inviting us and all of the candidates running for office to the Good Government Sunday worship.

The Reverend delivered a wonderful sermon and gave us a powerful message. I pray each of the candidates will embrace it in their heart: “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” — Proverbs 29:2.

It's time to be blunt... I have always been with Tallahassee and the voices of its residents for the last 30 years, from serving as your Mayor to fighting injustices within the City.

I have always made the time to listen, learn, and acknowledge the people of this City, not putting them and their everyday issues as an afterthought.

From being the first Mayor to sign a proclamation recognizing Tallahassee Pride Week to fighting for those often feeling ignored, unseen, or unrepresented, I will always fight for Tallahassee values.

Dot Inman-Johnson had an amazing time at the Forum last night, talking about the issues that matter here in Tallahassee, from the 287g agreement to affordability within Tallahassee.

As a former Mayor, City Commissioner and civil rights activist, Dot Inman-Johnson will always believe America was built by immigrants, and will be on the side of Immigrants trying to fight for the American dream and to discontinue the 287g agreement.
