💯❤️🙏🏾THURSDAY—TRUSTING, TURNING IT OVER, AND TRIUMPHING THROUGH GOD!🙏🏾❤️💯
“The battle is not yours, but God’s.” — 2 Chronicles 20:15 KJV
When the battles of life become too hard for you, remember: they are just right for God! We often delay our own deliverance because we keep trying to resolve spiritual problems through human strength. We take matters into our own hands, wrestle with people, defend ourselves, and search everywhere for answers—when God is saying, “Turn it over to Me!”
Yes, sometimes it may feel as though God is taking too long. But God has not forgotten you! He sees your pain. He knows your sorrow. He has heard every prayer, witnessed every tear, and seen every wicked device formed against you. God has already prepared the answer, but He knows the perfect time and the perfect way to bring it to pass.
Do not allow your pain to become greater than your faith. God wants your faith to rise above your suffering! When faith becomes greater than fear, disappointment, and pain, Heaven begins moving on your behalf.
Stop fighting spiritual battles in the flesh!
“For we wrestle not against flesh and BLOOD, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” — Ephesians 6:12 KJV
Look at Gideon. He began with 32,000 men, but God said there were too many. After 22,000 departed, 10,000 remained—but God still said there were too many. Finally, God selected only 300 men, including those who lapped water with their hands to their mouths. God gave Gideon victory through a plan no human military leader would have chosen. God reduced the army so no one could take credit for what only He had done! Read Judges 7.
Sometimes we are looking for victory to come through a crowd, a particular person, money, influence, connections, or someone’s advice. But God may remove the very people and things we thought we needed so that, when the battle is over, nobody can receive the glory but Him!
Jehoshaphat faced a multitude too great for him, but he turned to God through prayer and fasting. God answered:
“Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” — 2 Chronicles 20:15 KJV
Hannah stopped trying to make people understand her pain. She poured out her soul before the LORD with a sincere heart. God heard her cry and blessed her with Samuel.
Moses stood before the Red Sea with Pharaoh’s army behind him, but God said:
“Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD.” — Exodus 14:13 KJV
Abraham trusted God enough to place Isaac on the altar. Daniel trusted God inside the lions’ den. The three Hebrew men trusted God in the fiery furnace. Jesus surrendered completely in Gethsemane and prayed, “nevertheless not My will, but Thine, be done.” — Luke 22:42 KJV
They trusted God, released the outcome, and allowed Him to handle what human strength could never accomplish.
I have been through many battles in my own life. There were people and things I believed would help me, but God would not allow them to do what I thought I needed. When I finally stopped struggling, turned everything over to Jesus, and cried out to God from the depths of a pure heart, He fixed my problems in ways I never could have imagined!
He did not always send someone to see about me—sometimes, He came Himself! Every time He came, I felt better. Every time He moved, I knew it was nobody but God!
The LORD promised:
“Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and He shall say, Here I am.” — Isaiah 58:9 KJV
Get away from the noise. Stop explaining yourself to everybody. Enter your quiet place and pour your heart out to God. Call upon Him sincerely, leave no room for doubt, and then leave the battle in His hands.
When you surrender it completely, God can fix it so thoroughly that nobody can blame another person, claim the credit, or deny His power. They will have to look at the outcome and declare, “This was God!”
Stop fighting in the flesh. Stop carrying what God told you to release. Stop reopening what you placed on the altar. Give it up, turn it loose, and trust Jesus!
God has never lost a battle—and He never will!
PRAYER
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I surrender every battle, burden, disappointment, accusation, pain, and unanswered question into Your hands. Forgive me for trying to fix what only You can resolve. Strengthen my faith until it becomes greater than my pain. Teach me to be still, trust Your timing, and obey Your instructions.
Remove every person, plan, and distraction that is interfering with Your will for my life. Fight for me as You fought for Gideon, Jehoshaphat, Moses, Hannah, Daniel, and the three Hebrew men. Let Your power be revealed so clearly that no flesh can receive Your glory.
Lord, I am calling You with a sincere heart. Please answer me and say, “Here I am.” I release this battle completely. I will not pick it back up. I trust Your wisdom, Your timing, and Your unfailing power.
Thank You for hearing me, defending me, delivering me, and giving me the victory through Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ’s mighty name, Amen!
Ask me, don’t I know—God will take care of you!
