Today kicks off American Pharmacists Month! FPA proudly recognizes Florida’s pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and student pharmacists for the knowledge, compassion, and commitment they bring to our communities.

This year’s theme, Caring for Our Communities, takes on special meaning as America marks its 250th anniversary. We honor pharmacy’s place in our nation’s story and the professionals helping shape a healthier future.

There are a couple of days left to cast your vote for Verender Brown in the Pharmacy Technician I.M.P.A.C.T. Awards

Verender has dedicated her career to advancing the pharmacy technician profession through education, mentorship, legislative advocacy, and workforce development. As Pharmacy Technician Educator and ASHP Program Director at Osceola Technical College, she has helped guide more than 100 students toward national certification while contributing to meaningful improvements in pharmacy technician education across Florida.

Her leadership has made a lasting impact on students, practicing technicians, and the future of pharmacy throughout our state. Now, we have the opportunity to help her receive this well-deserved national recognition.

Save the date for FPA’s Regulatory & Law Excellence, a two-day virtual CE event happening December 12-13, 2026.

Join pharmacy professionals from across Florida for education focused on the regulatory and legal issues shaping pharmacy practice today and into the year ahead.
