What does disability employment mean to you?

Is it your first job? A supportive employer? A career you love? A dream you are still working toward?

As we prepare for National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) this coming October, GCPD is inviting artists to help tell the story of disability employment in Texas through original artwork.

This year's poster theme is:

⭐ Celebrating Value and Talent in the Lone Star State ⭐

Whether your artwork reflects independence, opportunity, inclusion in the workplace, entrepreneurship, teamwork, or personal achievement, we want to see your vision.

The deadline to submit artwork is June 30th!

Help us create a poster that celebrates the contributions, skills, and talents of Texans with disabilities. Learn more and submit your artwork: https://gov.texas.gov/organization/disabilities/ndeam_poster

Mental Health Awareness Month ends today. The work doesn't.

The data this month has been sobering: treatment gaps, systems under strain, and a workforce stretched past capacity.

But also inspiring: more treatments, more data, and more Gen Zers in therapy.
