Help us welcome Dr. Sean Schinella back to the Temple Cluster! It’s a great day to be a tiger!

Dr. Sean Schinella is replacing Dr. Beers as principal of Temple Middle School. Dr. Beers will be serving the district as Director of Middle and High Schools beginning July 1.

Schinella is no stranger to Carroll County, beginning his teaching career at Temple Elementary School nearly 20 years ago while also coaching soccer, wrestling, and football at Temple High School. He has served as a middle school assistant principal since 2019 in the Paulding County School System. His wife, Ashley, is a Carroll County teacher, and their children are already part of Carroll County Schools.

“I am honored and excited to return to the Temple community where I began my career,” Schinella said. “I look forward to serving and working alongside our dedicated faculty, students and families as we continue working together to make Temple Middle School the very best it can be.”

Schinella holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of West Georgia, a master’s degree from Western Governors University and a specialist degree from Piedmont College. He earned his Doctor of Education degree from the University of Georgia in 2024.

We wrapped up another amazing school year with our final lunch together. We’re so thankful for the memories, growth, and moments we’ve shared together this year as a staff.

Kindergarten Graduation - These sweet tigers have achieved so much this year. We are so proud of all of them. This morning we celebrated their academic achievements, listened to their sweet voices sing, and smiled (maybe a few tears) as they crossed the gym to become 1st graders. Have a great summer little tigers! We will see you in August. It's a great day to be a tiger!

This morning the Temple High School Class of 2026 that attended Temple Elementary returned for one final walk through the halls as students. For this final walk, they escorted our graduating Kindergarten tigers to their awards ceremony. This is one of our favorite traditions each year. Congratulations Tigers and good luck in all your future aspirations. It's a great day to be a tiger!

Congratulations to our senior Tigers, Claire and Jack!!

Congratulations to our Class of 2026 Valedictorian and Salutatorian! Jack Jordan, son of Sammy and Laura Jordan was the THS Valedictorian and Claire Miller, daughter of Josh and Hiley Miller was named the Salutatorian. Jack will be attending The Georgia Institute of Technology in the fall and Claire will be attending the University of Georgia in the fall. We are so proud of these two students and the legacy they will leave behind at THS!
