Who says vocabulary review has to be boring?! 📚😂

Ms. Brown’s ELA classes had so much fun playing Vocabulary Headbandz today! Students had to use clues, examples, and their ELA knowledge to figure out the vocabulary word on their head. Lots of laughs, teamwork, and learning happening at the same time! ❤️

Sometimes the best learning happens when it feels like a game! 🎉📖

🧪 Is it a solid? Is it a liquid? …YES!

Our 8th grade Physical Science scientists got hands-on with Oobleck today! Students explored this fascinating non-Newtonian fluid to introduce the States of Matter while making a BIG mess and having even more fun! 💚🔬

Our 7th grade art students got to experience their first Collaborative Critique in Art! Students focused on giving compliments, constructive criticism, and actionable feedback to help one another grow and develop as artists! 🎨🐾💛

Our Tech Fair students are hard at work on this Friday afternoon, dedicating their time and effort to preparing for the upcoming district competition. Their goal is to build on last year’s impressive success and bring home even more hardware!

Last year, our students earned three 3rd-place finishes, three 2nd-place finishes, and four 1st-place awards, with the first-place winners advancing to regional competition.

At the regional level, our students continued to excel, earning two 2nd-place finishes and two 1st-place awards. The first-place winners then advanced to compete at the state level.

We are proud of their dedication and commitment and look forward to seeing what they accomplish this year!
