Mr. Dovell’s classes are tracking class averages on unit assessments to monitor student progress and promote high levels of learning. Class goals are established using classwork performance and results from the previous unit assessment. When a class meets or exceeds its goal, students earn a bag of chips as a reward for their hard work and achievement.

For Unit 2: 6th grade - 3rd period and 7th grade - 5th & 6th period EXCEEDED their class goals 👏🏻👏🏻

We have Unit 3 assessments coming up this week and next week, giving every class another opportunity to reach or surpass its goal and celebrate its success.

Friday, our PGMS teams “The Borg,” “RoboRoses,” “Wall-E,” and “La Peace” competed at the Miller Grove ISD “Monsterbots” VEX IQ Competition, and we are so proud of how well they represented PGMS!

“The Borg” and “RoboRoses” tied for 4th place, while “Wall-E” brought home the Design Award Trophy! 🏆

We are proud of all of our students for their hard work, creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. We can’t wait to see how each team grows throughout the season! 💛🖤🤖

We are excited to announce that Pleasant Grove Middle School Student Council is participating in the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) Field of Flags Fundraiser!

This meaningful fundraiser helps honor the brave men and women who have served our country while supporting DAV's mission of assisting veterans and their families.

Our Student Council has a minimum fundraising goal of $250, but we don't want to stop there! We want to go ABOVE AND BEYOND that goal and raise as much as possible to support our nation's heroes! 🇺🇸
