This summer at Lakeview, students will hear the good news proclaimed by six faithful women.
Across both weeks of Summer Youth Camp, all of our speakers are women serving in the Texas Annual Conference as pastors, ministry directors, church planters, family ministry leaders and community builders.
As The United Methodist Church marks 70 years since women were granted full clergy rights in the Methodist tradition, this moment is more than symbolic. It is a living witness to the ways God continues to call women to preach, serve and lead.
