the Maine Policy Institute's (MPI) version of "Project 2025," only this time it is for Maine.. James Myall posted this on Bluesky. ( follow him there at https://bsky.app/profile/jamesxmyall.bsky.social MPI is a think tank in Portland funded by Leonard Leo, same guy who pays for the Maine Wire and other projects for the right wing reactionaries we are opposing. MPI now posted a 126+ page document detailing what they think the GOP should do when Maine elects a new GOP Governor and GOP majority in the legislature. Myall posted some disturbing analysis of it on his Bluesky, and I hope he adds more! It is literally a blueprint that gives specifics of how they can roll back social programs and such things as school funding.
there are many ways to use this.
First, share it widely. learn the main points and bring them to any meetings with candidates in your area; we can enlist the Ds to oppose this, and also try to tie around the necks of every RW candidate who thinks these proposals are a good idea.
Make a sign for a demonstration or stand out that highlights the disaster that we would have if we did all these things.
