✈️We are rapidly upgrading our F-15E fleet! The new EPAWSS speedline at the Warner-Robins Air Logistics Complex, part of our Air Force Sustainment Center, aims to accelerate modernization efforts for the Strike Eagle.

The Eagle Passive Active Warning Survivability System (EPAWSS) is a highly advanced electronic warfare suite that provides our aircraft with digital radar warning, geolocation, and powerful jamming capabilities. Integrating this cutting-edge technology directly translates to increased lethality, allowing our aircrews to safely pe*****te and strike within heavily contested airspace.

Executing these upgrades through a dedicated speedline ensures maximum fleet readiness, keeping our aircraft prepared to dominate in any future conflict.

Yesterday, finance professionals from the Air Force Sustainment Center, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, and the 72nd Comptroller Squadron came together for the annual Society of Defense Financial Management (SDFM) Sequoyah Chapter Financial Management Professional Development Training Workshop at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla.

Col. Deedrick Reese, Air Force Sustainment Center deputy commander, shared valuable insights on leadership perspectives and navigating change with attendees.

Melissa D. Blakesly, Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary for Congressional Budget and Appropriations Liaison, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Financial Management and Comptroller, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, also addressed the group, bringing high-level perspectives from the Pentagon.

Civilian and uniformed Airmen networked, collaborated, and sharpened their skills to better support the Air Force mission through sound financial management.

Events like these ensure our financial experts are equipped to deliver agile, transparent, and effective resource stewardship in support of national defense.

Forging the Future of Readiness Through Partnership

Air Force Sustainment Center Commander Lt. Gen. Jennifer Hammerstedt and Louisiana Tech University President Dr. Jim Henderson signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Monday, at the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex on Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.

This agreement establishes a framework for collaboration — advancing cutting-edge research opportunities, opening clear career pathways for Louisiana Tech students into AFSC roles, and fostering ongoing dialogue on areas of mutual benefit.

By partnering with innovative academic institutions like Louisiana Tech, AFSC continues to strengthen the talent pipeline, drive technological advancements, and enhance our ability to deliver world-class sustainment and logistics readiness. This directly supports our mission: providing agile, war-winning capabilities so America's warfighters can fly, fix, and fight — anytime, anywhere.
