Ashley Hodges at Tinker Chapel, this taco-themed session taught knife skills, healthy recipe twists, and meal-prep magic that fuels the Air Force Comprehensive Fitness Resiliency Pillars. 💪 🔥

From dorm chefs to aspiring home cooks, everyone walked away ready to ditch the drive-thru and whip up nutritious meals that keep body, mind, and mission sharp. Bonus? Cooking together is pure social fuel for mental and spiritual health!

As one Airman put it: “I will definitely use some of the skills I learned… as I start cooking more for myself.”

Please join me in congratulating Mr. Steve Gray on his selection as our new AFSC Executive Director!

Mr. Gray is no stranger to the Air Force Sustainment Center. Most recently, he served as Director of the 448th Supply Chain Management Wing, where he oversaw a $7.1 billion budget and led more than 3,000 personnel across four geographically separated locations, directing complex supply chain management operations critical to our national defense.

Mr. Gray brings a wealth of experience and insight to our team. For more than 13 years, he has served in a variety of leadership roles across AFSC organizations, developing a deep understanding of our mission and operations. His distinguished career includes both enlisted and officer active-duty service in logistics and operations research, with assignments across multiple MAJCOMs and combatant commands. I look forward to his leadership as we continue deliver airpower to America’s warfighters!

AFSC Airmen, thank you for your unwavering dedication and the outstanding work you accomplish every day! It is an honor to serve alongside each of you!

Lt. Gen. Jennifer Hammerstedt, commander of the Air Force Sustainment Center, and Lindel Fields, Oklahoma State Superintendent of Public Instruction, just sealed an official partnership with a handshake and a signed Memorandum of Understanding.

This collaboration between AFSC and OSDE is all about opening doors for students—think STEM pathways, career opportunities, and stronger connections between classrooms and the mission that keeps our Air Force flying.

Yesterday we installed bright new versions of the Air Force Sustainment Center and Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex Shields on our building Tinker Air Force Base —nd they look fantastic!

These refreshed signs proudly carry forward the legacy of the AFSC and OC-ALC Shields while better reflecting the outstanding quality work our civilian and uniformed Airmen deliver every day in support of America’s warfighters. Proud of the team that keeps the mission moving!
