Below is a statement from the Nye County Clerk’s Office:

It was brought to the attention of the County Clerk’s Office that there has been some electioneering within 100 feet of the door of a polling location this week, which is prohibited by state law. We take this very seriously. The Office has spoken with the District Attorney’s Office and the Secretary of State’s Office, and we are investigating.

The County Clerk’s Office is committed to the integrity of elections and the security of all polling places. If you have any information about possible electioneering, please contact the County Clerk’s Office at 775-482-8127.

Summer Travel Safety Reminder: Safe Driving on Rural State Roads

CARSON CITY, Nev. – As Nevadans begin the summer travel season over the coming weeks, the Nevada Department of Transportation is reminding motorists of rural driving safety tips.

With safety as top priority, the Nevada Department of Transportation is providing the following driving safety tips for motorists planning travel in rural areas.
