National Prescription Drug Take Back Day in Tonopah will be held Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Raley’s Supermarket at 1201 S. Main Street.

Residents can safely drop off expired or unused medication at the booth located in the parking lot to the far right of the entrance.

This event, supported by the Nye County Sheriff’s Office and NyE Communities Coalition, helps prevent misuse and promotes safe disposal.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event helps you safely turn in expired or unused medication. Do not keep old medication at home. Do not throw it in the trash. Bring it to a safe drop‑off location.

There are two collection sites in Nye County:

601 S. Highway 160

Tonopah
Raley’s Supermarket
1201 S. Main Street

Look for the booth in the parking lot to the far right of the front entrance.

This event is held in cooperation with the Nye County Sheriff’s Office and NyE Communities Coalition. It supports safe disposal and helps prevent misuse of prescription drugs.

Do your part to keep the community safe. Turn in unused medication on April 25. 🗓️

This meeting is open to the public. Community participation is encouraged. Your input helps guide decisions about medical services in Northern Nye County.

The agenda includes a discussion of medical services and needs for April 2026. The Board may take action on the priority list for the Rural Health Transformation Program grant. It will also review education reimbursement requests from Tonopah Primary Care for $2,000 and Stacy Johnson for an amount to be decided.
