The Trinidad Public Library is pleased to announce the September exhibit on the library’s Art Wall. Southern Colorado multidisciplinary artist Chachi Soto blends personal history, ancestral ties, and a diverse range of practices—including tattooing, mask-making, and painting—to explore the balance of opposing life experiences. His latest collection of velvety gouache paintings investigates deeply personal themes of vulnerability, self-defense, and performative masking through rich color and refined tactile forms. In addition to exhibiting work across the Southwest, Soto operates as a premier tattoo artist based out of Sweat & Swoon in Pueblo, Colorado. The exhibit is available through September during regular library hours, 9 to 5 weekdays and 10 to 4 Saturdays. Contact the library at 719-846- 6841 for more information.

20 hrs/week: Mondays (9:00–5:00), Thursdays (9:00–5:00), and Saturdays (10:00–4:00)

This role is perfect for a working student or someone looking to earn extra cash while supporting a welcoming community space. Help patrons, assist with programs, and keep our library running smoothly!
