Introducing our third comedian:
One of the fastest-rising stars in comedy, Tehran is a powerhouse performer with a one-of-a-kind background: Black, Persian, Muslim, and Jewish — streetwise and Ivy-educated. His bold, brilliant blend of cultures gives him a voice that’s as thought-provoking as it is hilarious. Tehran has been featured on Comedy Central, HBO, and FOX, and when he’s not touring across the U.S. or internationally, you can catch him bringing down the house regularly at The Laugh Factory in Los Angeles.

Introducing our second comedian:
An Israeli-Jewish comedian and the founder/producer of Comedy for Peace. Erik has performed at top venues across the U.S., including Carolines on Broadway and The Laugh Factory in Los Angeles, and has opened for major headliners like Maz Jobrani and Zarna Garg. His international tours have brought him to stages across Europe, Israel, and even Tokyo. He’s been featured on NBC, performed at the New York Comedy Festival and other major festivals, and has racked up over 3 million views on TikTok. His comedy is clever, high-energy, and full of surprises—drawing from his life as a recent immigrant, a forty-something newlywed, and a proud Hebrew-English speaker who thinks in Falafel 24/7.

🌟 Join Us for a Meaningful Back-to-School Drive! 🌟

As we prepare for a new school year, let’s come together to support our local students and teachers! 📚✏️ We’re partnering with The Pencil Box to collect essential school supplies for underserved students throughout Tulsa County.

Every child deserves the tools they need for successful learning, and your generosity can make a real difference. In the spirit of Tzedakah (charity), let’s embody the Jewish value of giving and ensure that every student starts the year strong!

Visit JewishTulsa.org/school-supply-drive/ to see the Amazon wish list or drop off your supplies in the lobby of Jewish Tulsa by August 31st.

Together, we can empower our community and help our students thrive!

In 2025 alone, ADL documented dozens of protest-related antisemitic incidents and nearly 530 incidents of harassment at synagogues in the U.S.

That's why we welcome the Right to Worship Act, a bipartisan bill built on the framework ADL helped develop to protect the right to worship while preserving the right to peacefully protest.

We're grateful to Senator Ted Cruz, Senator Elissa Slotkin, Congressman Brad Knott and Rep. Tom Suozzi for their leadership and bipartisan commitment to ensuring that everyone can worship freely and safely.

A Jewish, a Christian, and a Muslim comedian walk into a club… this isn’t a set up for a joke…it’s Comedy for Peace. Five years after their last visit, Comedy for Peace, a touring group of diverse stand-up comedians, returns to Tulsa! Learn more at jewishtulsa.org/event/comedy-for-peace/

The project was founded by comedian/producer Dotan Malach, who understood that although the political situation isn’t easily fixable – on a personal level, we’re all human beings who want to work and live together, peacefully. The primary goal of Comedy for Peace is to show people of all communities that we can, very easily, collaborate and stand on one stage together and have fun, laughing at ourselves and each other, without any politics involved.
