Don’t be fooled! State Question 832 is about far more than a simple minimum wage increase.
This proposal would raise Oklahoma’s minimum wage to $15 by 2029, then it automatically increase wages EVERY YEAR based on the national inflation average (Oklahoma is consistently significantly below the national average), and expand wage requirements under state law. Small business owners, agriculture leaders, and local employers have warned that higher labor costs could threaten jobs, increase prices, and put added strain on Oklahoma businesses. The future of Oklahoma’s business climate is on the ballot. On Tuesday, June 16, vote NO on SQ832.
Thank you to Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs for proving the data to make sure Oklahomans know the truth of SQ832!
