1. ITC welcomes respectful discussion, including disagreement with positions taken and endorsements made by the organization.
2. Comments containing personal attacks, threats, hate speech, spam, profanity, or demonstrably false information may be moderated.
3. When ITC endorses a candidate, comments on the endorsement post may discuss or disagree with the endorsement, but the thread may not be used to campaign for another candidate. Campaign slogans, promotional graphics, campaign links, fundraising/volunteer appeals, or repetitive promotional comments for opposing candidates may be hidden or removed.
4. Questions and substantive criticism of ITC’s positions, endorsed candidates, or endorsement process are welcome.
5. ITC reserves the right to moderate disruptive or repetitive behavior.

Jim Priest is in the Democratic Party primary run-off election for U.S. Senate on August 25, 2026. Priest is a lawyer and nonprofit leader from Oklahoma City. He was an employment law attorney for 34 years before turning to nonprofit leadership. He retired as CEO of Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma. He is also an author and ordained minister.

The General Meeting on Tuesday, August 11th will feature Jess Piper. Born and bred southerner, having spent childhood and young adulthood in several southern states until she landed in Arkansas. She graduated with A BA in English and an MA in Education from the University of Arkansas. Jess is a fierce advocate for rural communities and public schools. She was an American Literature teacher for 16 years and decided to run for a House seat in Missouri’s 1st district in 2022. Although she lost the race, she continues her activism and is Executive Director of Blue Missouri and hosts a weekly podcast called “Dirt Road Democrat.” Hardesty Library, 6:30pm

Indivisible Tulsa County conducted their 3rd Resistance Caravan on Saturday, August 1, 2026. Almost 30 cars, decorated with flags, signs and messages for our current administration took to the streets for an hour and half parade route through Tulsa, Oklahoma.
