In just over a week, we've already helped 248 children get the school supplies they need for a successful school year. This Wish List Wednesday, we're asking for your help to keep our shelves stocked as more children visit the Resource Center to prepare for the school year.

What does connection mean to you?

As part of our 20th Anniversary Celebration, we're inviting our families, volunteers, donors, partners, and community to help us fill this wall with your answers!

If you're visiting the Resource Center this month, we'd love for you to write your answer on one of our hearts and add it to the wall.

Can't make it in? Tell us in the comments! We'll write your response on a heart and add it for you.

By the end of August, we hope this wall will be filled with the stories, memories, and moments that remind us why connection matters.

💜 We are so grateful to The Quilting Studio & Fabric Mercantile and everyone who poured their time, talent, and love into these beautiful quilts and blankets.

These handmade gifts bring comfort during times of transition and remind the children we serve that someone cares. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference!

✏️ What an incredible start to Pencils & Possibilities!

In just the first day, we helped over 50 families and 73 children get the grade-appropriate school supplies they need to start the school year strong. 💜

Because we're providing school supplies throughout the entire month of August, we'll continue restocking our shelves as donations come in—and you can help make sure every child has what they need.

For the families we serve: School supplies are now included as part of your regular Resource Center visit throughout August. There's no separate registration or special event required, and you don't need to rush in this week. We'll also be open this Saturday from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. for regular shopping, school supplies, and additional family activities.

💜 20 years of connection.

This month, we're celebrating 20 years of serving children and families impacted by foster care.

What began two decades ago has grown into a community of foster families, kinship caregivers, volunteers, donors, partners, and supporters who have helped make a difference in the lives of thousands of children across Oklahoma.

Throughout August, we'll be celebrating this milestone and reflecting on the connections that make our mission possible. We hope you'll follow along, celebrate with us, and be part of the conversation all month long.
