Our amazing friend Laura Papajack Anderson has worked so hard on this and we can't wait to see it in the park this summer!

Exciting news! Thanks to the Friends of Union Carnegie Library we’re testing out a story trail. The first book will be Humble Pie, by the Summer Reading Program’s featured artist! Thank you to the Friends for funding this project.

Some of you have seen us moving books over the last couple of days. We officially have a place to hold this years book sale! Thanks to Sara Hartley and her unbelievable generosity, we will be having this year's sale in The Union Merc building! It will still be during grassroots festival and we can't wait to see everyone.

Thank you to anyone that has reached out! With some community support we will be able to have our annual sale this year. We will have further updates Monday!

The friends are currently looking for a temporary space to store books for the upcoming grassroots sale.

The space we are currently using is being repurposed, we will have to move all current donations out by June 1st.

If we are unable to find a space, there is a big possibility we won't be able to have a booksale this year. This is one of only 2 large fundraisers we do in order to support Union, OR Carnegie Library. If anyone has any ideas or leads on a space, please reach out to us or to Tiffany or Laura at our local library.

We had so much fun with the parade tonight! Thank you to Union, OR Carnegie Library for the amazing idea, City of Union, Oregon public works for getting our ring built! Wayne Hall for driving and keeping our fighters safe. Last but not least Laura Papajack Anderson for being the best at giving out the most candy! Merry Christmas everyone.
