Monday August 24th, 2026
The office will only be open until 1pm. I have a dr. appt at 2 in Bangor that I have to be at. (They are going to try Nerve Blocking my neck for the headaches I have been having) and Marlene can't work because she has her own things going on. I understand this is an inconvenience so IF you need me after that leave me a message at 207-460-3998 and when I get back from Bangor I will come in and meet you, don't hesitate, I don't mind. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Have you taken the Survey yet for the Comprehensive Plan Update. It only takes 10-20 minutes online. If you don't want to take it online come into the office and pick one up and you can fill it out on paper instead and just bring it back to us. We only have a few more weeks to get these filled out and we would really appreciate getting as many residents to do it as possible. Some of you say you can't make it to meetings to help out, well this is a way for your voice to be heard. Fill out the survey. If you don't want your Island to change, you should take the time to say that. If you do think there is room for change you should take the time to say that as well. We all have a choice, what choice will you make? So far only about 50 people from the Island have taken this survey.
Next Comprehensive Plan Meeting is Monday August 17th at 5:00PM

Im back, sorry had people follow me in so i didnt get to postrighr away. But i am here WEDNESDAY JULY 29TH - THE OFFICE WILL HAVE TO BE CLOSED TODAY FROM 11:20 UNTIL PROBABLY ABOUT 12:30 I HAVE A DR. APPT. I HAVE TO BE AT OVER TOWN. I WILL LET YOU KNOW AS SOON AS I AM BACK, BUT IN CASE THEY ARE RUNNING LATE YOU MIGHT WANT TO GIVE ME A LITTLE LEEWAY ON THE BACK SIDE. There is a guy in safety clothing that is walking West Side this morning and he does have a car that is white with a sticker from ACE Field Solutions phone number 406-940-5821. When I stopped and asked what he was doing today he said they were taking pictures to run fiber obtics. He is taking pictures of telephone poles and peoples houses. He told me he is not knocking on doors. It did however just jump a mother and kids outside. So just be aware that he is around. If you are nervous call the number and ask. He told me I could I just haven't had time to do so. I know we have had some solicitors lately so just trying to keep you guys up with what is going on
