The Morgan County R-II School District and all district offices will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. School will not be in session.

Classes and regular district operations will resume Tuesday, September 8.

🐅 NEW STAFF SPOTLIGHT | Meet Mrs. Paige Miller🐅

Please help us welcome Mrs. Paige Miller to the Morgan County R-II School District! Mrs. Miller is joining Versailles Elementary School as a special education teacher.

Originally from California, Missouri, Mrs. Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in early childhood education. She is also pursuing an education specialist degree in K–12 leadership at the University of Central Missouri. She brings six years of experience in education, including one year at Prairie Home and five years at California.

Mrs. Miller chose a career in education because she wants to see the potential in every child—especially those who may need someone to believe in them a little louder. When asked what she is looking forward to most this school year she said, "She is looking forward to being part of such a positive and supportive school community."

Outside of school, Mrs. Miller enjoys spending time with her family, working on DIY projects, attending her children’s activities, and making memories together.

Mrs. Miller is married and the mother of four children—and all four are joining her as Versailles Tigers this year! She is excited that this new adventure is something their whole family will experience together.

🥎📚 ACADEMIC ALL-STATE | Lady Tigers Softball

Congratulations to our 2026 Missouri High School Fastpitch Coaches Association Academic All-State recipients!

These Lady Tigers have demonstrated incredible dedication both on the field and in the classroom. Balancing the demands of athletics with academics takes commitment, discipline, and hard work—and these student-athletes have risen to the challenge.

Together, our Academic All-State recipients earned an impressive 3.641 overall GPA! 🎓🐯
