Versailles High School is seeking a highly organized, professional, and community-focused individual to serve as our High School Administrative Assistant. This position is often the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and community members and plays a vital role in the daily operations of the school. It offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on students, staff, and families while serving as an essential member of the Versailles High School team.
Primary responsibilities:
- Maintaining student attendance records
- Collecting and processing student fees and other school-related funds
- Managing office communications
- Assisting students and families
- Maintaining confidential records
- Coordinating school correspondence
- Supporting administrators and staff
- Performing a variety of clerical and organizational duties necessary to ensure the efficient operation of the high school office
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, proficiency with technology and office software, the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Location:
Versailles is located in central Missouri, just a short drive to Jefferson City and Sedalia. The southern portion of our district contains the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. VHS is an active part of the community, believes in creating a student-first classroom, and offers a supportive environment for our teachers.
