A Sneak Peek Fundraiser for Maui OnStage

Next year, the County begins the long-planned roof replacement at the Historic ʻĪao Theater—and our stage will go dark for several months.

There’s a story behind the story. 🌺

Go behind the scenes with 'Ainakea playwright James Kimo Nevius as he shares the story behind the story of his original play rooted in Maui’s history, community, and the changes that shaped Lahaina.

🖊️James will be available for signing his limited edition CD's of music he composed just for the production! CD's will be available for purchase in Concessions pre-show and during intermission.

Set in 1953, ʻAinakea follows a pivotal moment in pre-statehood Lahaina as the last cane harvest gives way to a new era of resort development.
