Library staff and volunteers have been busy clearing the carpet of furniture and book carts. Really strange to have so much open area! We can't wait to open up on Monday, June 1 for the Summer Reading Kick-off with a fresher cleaner building!

Time to get the ball rolling and sign up for Summer Reading 2026 😎 | Starting June 1st, WPL opens Summer Reading 2026: Unearth A Story--BUT you can pre-sign up on Beanstack now!

Over June and July, you can read 25 hours and recieve incentives for every five hours of reading--and there's a secondary program you can sign up for, which is aimed towards our super readers of all ages.

If you're a teen or adult, we have an extra reading program sponsored by Marco's Pizza that will take place throughout most of June and July (it ends within July and the coupons are valid up until the evening of July 31st at the participating location).
