Waterford Youth Assistance (WYA) is a 501(c), nonprofit organization solely serving the Waterford community. WYA’s purpose is to strengthen youth and families and to reduce the incidence of delinquency, abuse, and neglect through community involvement. Last year WYA received 225 client referrals for our caseworker to provide family-focused, short-term, voluntary counseling. In addition to providin

g casework services, WYA offers programs such as the Youth Enrichment and Summer Camp Scholarships; Bucket of Love and Shoplifting Prevention school-based activities; Family Education seminars; and the annual Youth Recognition Night.
