🦟⚠NOTICE⚠🦟 Wide-Area Aerial Larvicide Treatment | 5/26/26 – 6/5/26

In collaboration with the Williams County Vector Control District (WCVCD), the United States Air Force Reserve (USAFR) 910th Airlift Wing, stationed in Youngstown, Ohio, will be conducting wide-area aerial larvicide treatments between May 26, 2026, and June 5, 2026, weather and conditions permitting. Treatments will be focused over riparian areas of the Missouri River located south and southeast of Williston.

✈ The public may see large military aircraft flying at low elevations during daytime hours while the treatments are being conducted, but treatments will not be applied over populated areas.

➡The USAFR will be using VectoBac 12AS, with active ingredient Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis. Vectobac 12 AS is approved for use in residential areas by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

🦟🚫Larvicide treatments target mosquito larvae and prevent them becoming biting adults.
