We are excited to announce that Town of Babylon Beach Permits and Pool Passes are available for daily checkout for the 2026 season! 🏊‍♂️

Beach Permits: Valid for everyone in your vehicle for free parking/admission to Cedar Beach (and Campground), Overlook Beach, Gilgo Beach, Venetian Shores, and Tanner Park. (Note: Must be displayed on your dashboard!)

Pool Passes: Available in 2, 3, or 5-pass bundles. Valid for 1 entry per person (ages 3+).

Valid for West Babylon Adult Card Holders only. Visit our website or stop by the library to check yours out before your next summer day trip! ☀️🕶️

🐾 A Heartwarming Visit from Paws of War! ❤️🎖️On Saturday, June 13, we had the honor of hosting our friends Mike, Gary, and Miss Lucy from Paws of War, who shared the incredible work they do for our Veteran community!

Paws of War goes above and beyond to support our veterans, active military members, and first responders. Through rescuing and training service dogs for independence, facilitating companion animal adoptions, and even rescuing animals from overseas war zones, they provide essential services that truly enrich the lives of our heroes. 🐕✨

To make the day even more special, Paws of War accepted a wonderful donation of handmade placemats and bandanas! These were lovingly created by our own local 6th graders during their annual field trip to the library this past June. We are so proud of our students for giving back to such an amazing cause!

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and a huge thank you to Paws of War for everything you do.

In observance of Juneteenth, the West Babylon Public Library will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026.

We will reopen for our regular hours on Saturday, June 20.

🎨🖍️ Don’t toss those broken crayons! 🖍️🎨As the end of the school year wraps up, desk clean-outs are officially underway! Before you throw away those used, broken, or unwanted crayons, bring them to the library instead!

🌍✨ Instead of heading to a landfill, your old crayons will be melted down and remanufactured into brand-new packs for children in hospitals. Help us turn old supplies into new smiles! Drop them off in our collection bin next time you visit.
