We were honored to celebrate Tom Iliou's 90th birthday with the dedication and renaming of the street corner at Evergreen Street and Great East Neck Road in West Babylon in his honor.

Tom has long been a pillar of the Town of Babylon community, dedicating countless years of service and generosity to the residents he has touched. His unwavering commitment and contributions have made a lasting impact on our town.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Tom for all he has done for the Town of Babylon and wish him continued health, happiness, and many more wonderful years ahead.

Another great turnout at the annual Tunnel to Towers fundraiser at Belfast in Lindenhurst. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is a tremendous organization that provides vital support to first responders, veterans, and their families during times of need. It’s wonderful to see our community come together each year in support of such an important mission.

A moving tribute to our Town of Babylon volunteer firefighters who passed away this past year. This special event was hosted by the Town of Babylon Volunteer Firefighters Association. You can visit the memorial at Town Hall.

Thank you to the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America, Grand Lodge of New York for recognizing me with their Golden Lion Award at their 41st Annual Dinner. Congratulations to fellow honorees Dr. John D'Angelo President & CEO of Northwell Health, John Guadagno President of Local 25 IBEW and Matthew Avellino, President of the Marty Lyons Foundation. It was a fantastic night celebrating the accomplishments of the organization and our shared heritage.

These officers have gone above and beyond assisting with community concerns, and working alongside our teams to address issues ranging from unsafe properties to quality-of-life complaints.
