West Bath Fire/Rescue Information about West Bath Fire Department Firefighting services in the town of West Bath are covered by a 30 member volunteer fire department.

The fire department has mutual aid agreements with all surrounding towns. Ambulance service is provided under contract with the City of Bath. The department is incorporated as West Bath Fire Department, and while separate from the town, is headed by Chief Jonathan Beane a full-time position. The town of West Bath owns all buildings and equipment at the fire station located at 192 State Road and ra

ises and appropriates an amount each year at the annual town meeting for fire department operations, capital equipment, and volunteer incentive.

The West Bath Fire Department would like to share information regarding funeral services for Michael Drake.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 6th, 2026 at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath, Maine.

A Firefighter’s Service will follow at the West Bath Fire Station, 192 State Road, West Bath, ME at 11:30AM. Following the service, there will be an opportunity to gather while light refreshments are served. Upon arrival at the fire station, please park in the dirt lot to the left of the building.

Fire department personnel wishing to attend are asked to wear their Class A uniform or the most formal dress uniform available to them for the Firefighter’s Service.
Per request of the family, anyone able please bring their R.E.D. station t-shirts to dress down post service.
