Thank you to everyone who suggested a name for the new bobcat at Maine Wildlife Park, and to all the wildlife fans who visited in the first two weeks of our 2026 season to vote. Almost half of 1000 voters agreed on one name...

Please join us in officially welcoming MOXIE to her new home!

Moxie has a big job ahead of her, teaching thousands of visitors all about Maine's bobcats. We hope you'll take the opportunity this season not just to meet Moxie, but to learn about the role of her species in Maine's ecosystem, notice the subtle clues that differentiate bobcats from Canada lynx, and ask questions about how biologists ensure the population continues to thrive.
