West Point Public Schools - Nebraska West Point Public Schools is a public school system in rural Nebraska serving the communities of West Point.

West Point Public Schools is a Class III School District located in Northeast Nebraska. West Point has a unique educational process in that there are three parochial school systems within the district. The demographics of the West Point School District have changed substantially in the past decade with a steady increase in the number of minority students and also students who qualify for free/redu

ced meals. To meet the needs of our changing demographics, the district currently provides ELL instruction and reading intervention programs to qualified students. School-wide Title I programs are provided at West Point Elementary School and Beemer Elementary School. An alternative education program is available at the high school. College credit courses are available for high school school students. The West Point Public Schools also has a comphrehensive special education program. West Point Public Schools continuously strive to provide a top quality education for all students.

Hunter Safety Class is coming up!

Students interested in hunting or joining the area trap team have an opportunity to complete their Hunter Safety requirements right here at West Point-Beemer!

Classes will be held Tuesdays from 4:00–6:00 PM on Sept. 9, 16, 23, 30 & Oct. 7 in the Public High School Library.

Participants must be 11 years old by Oct. 7, and registration can be completed online through Nebraska Game and Parks.
