We are excited for Wheeling Park High School’s first home football game of the season this Friday, September 4th!

Show Your School Spirit!
Students are encouraged to wear their best red, white, and blue or Park gear to school on Friday to support the Patriots!

Home Game Expectations
To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone attending the game, please review the following Wheeling Park Athletics event guidelines with your student:

Admission: Ohio County students must present their student ID for free entry. Students will receive their ID tomorrow during school.

Supervision: All elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by an adult.

Seating: Students are expected to remain seated during the game.

Prohibited Items & Behavior: No book bags, face coverings, vapes, or foul language permitted.

Failure to follow these expectations may result in removal from the event.

September is Attendance Awareness Month!
We are encouraging all of our students to Show Up, Be Here, and Win Big! Every day counts when it comes to your child’s education.

Throughout September, students can earn Attendance Bucks by being at school on time and staying all day. Students who have no unexcused absences for the entire month will earn an additional Attendance Buck. At the end of September, students can use their Attendance Bucks as entries into our Squishy Raffle Basket, valued at $100! The winner will be selected at the end of September.

Arrival & Dismissal procedures:

Student drop-off begins at 8:40 AM. Please do not pull down the back alley until that time. Drop-off in the back alley ends at 9:05 AM. After that time, please come to the front circle. Students are considered tardy at 9:10 AM.

Pre-school drop-off begins in the back alley at 9:15 AM. Please do not pull into the alley until after that time.

For dismissal, the car rider line may begin lining up at 3:30 PM. Please do not arrive earlier. Please do not block any residential parking spaces/lots. Students will be dismissed at 3:45 PM. After picking up your child, you may only turn right onto Maple Ave. if you are going to make a right onto Bethany Pike. Otherwise, turn left onto Maple Ave. and proceed through the neighborhood to avoid traffic buildup.

Attached is the link to become an approved volunteer with Ohio County Schools. Please note that all volunteers must submit an application and receive approval at both the school level and the Board of Education level before they are officially approved.

Anyone wishing to volunteer at Woodsdale in any capacity must complete the volunteer approval process before volunteering.
