Captain Johnson for the WIN tonight! I think we can say we all had a fun time and learned while doing it.
We had to get in turnouts, packs and helmets. Minus a few items, we only wanted to use our old gear so we were limited.
We had to fall in the pool and have a team rescue us. They had to take our packs off first then put us on a board or in the basket and get us out of the water. Then we had to fall back in and get out of our turnouts in the pool! If you didn’t know turnouts are already heavy, soak them and they are almost impossible to manage and put on.

……..and you can’t take firefighters to a waterpark for training and expect NO play at all now! So at the end we had a little playtime then clean up time.

Perfect training night for a heat advisory day!

Tonight’s firework show was absolutely beautiful. The city of White Hall really went all out this year. Beaver Johnson done an amazing job singing the National Anthem. We loved it tonight, the weather finally started acting right and loved seeing everyone there with their family enjoying the show!
