A native of Gaza City and senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, Ahmed brings a deeply personal perspective shaped by his work on Gaza’s political and humanitarian realities. He is a vocal critic of Hamas and an advocate for coexistence and a pragmatic path toward peace.

In Louisiana, ballots were already cast before officials hit pause on congressional primaries — and now voting rights groups are fighting back.
