Today, September 23, marks Bi Visibility Day and the culmination of Bisexual Awareness Week — a time to celebrate the bi+ community, increase visibility, and affirm the many ways people experience attraction and identity.

At The LOFT, that visibility and connection continue year-round through our Bisexual Peer Support Group, a welcoming space for anyone attracted to more than one gender — including those who identify as bisexual, pansexual, or are questioning their sexuality.

Celebrate the start of fall with Silver Connections as we head to Wilkens Fruit & Fir Farm for a classic autumn OUTing!

The LOFT is now accepting workshop proposals for the 2026 Hudson Valley TransForum, happening November 21–22 at SUNY Westchester Community College!

We’re looking for community members, educators, artists, healers, advocates, and professionals to lead interactive, empowering, and inclusive workshops centering Transgender, Gender Non-Conforming, and Non-Binary (TGNCNB) people and communities.

Join us for a special September OUTWalking excursion as we explore the incredible 250 acres of the New York Botanical Garden!

We’ll explore some of NYBG’s must-see highlights, including the special Flower Power exhibition, historic 1902 Conservatory, Rose Garden, and the largest remaining old-growth forest in New York City. 🌹🌳

🚆 Getting there: We’ll meet at the Mosholu Entrance, right next to the Botanical Garden Metro-North station. We encourage taking Metro-North when possible, as parking at NYBG is an additional $25.

🌈 REBUILDING RAINBOWS: IPV SURVIVOR PEER SUPPORT GROUP

You are not alone. Healing is possible — and it can begin in community. 💜

Rebuilding Rainbows is a confidential, affirming peer support space for LGBTQ+ survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV) to connect with others who understand the unique dynamics of abuse within q***r and trans relationships.

Facilitated by a trauma-informed therapist, the group centers safety, empowerment, connection, and healing without judgment.

📅 SEPTEMBER DATE CHANGE: This group usually meets on the first Monday of the month, but September’s meeting will take place Monday, September 14.
