The library crew and the Williams County Bookmobile had an 💥EXTREME💥 blast last weekend at the ✈️🚒🚔 Extreme Machines 🚁🚜🚚 event hosted by Williston Kids First.

It may not be an official EXTREME machine but the bookmobile was ❄️ EXTREMEly cool with the A/C pumping all afternoon. 🤣🤣 Thanks to everyone who came out and said hello.

So many ✨️new✨️and exciting items to check out at the library.

🎩 🪄 🌳We now have books 1-18 in the Magic Tree House collection as Wonderbooks‼️These are combined physical hardcover books with an attached audiobook, headphone jack, and simple playback controls. Fabulous for road trips and kiddos just getting into reading chapter books.

🐟 🎣 Explore the outdoor experience of fishing with our Fishing STEAM kit. Grab the two rods, bait the hooks with pretend worms, then hook and scoop up the six wooden fish.

🐄🚜 🐖 Have some on the go fun on the farm with our Take-Along Farm STEAM kit. (We also have an airport available. ✈️) Built in tracks, colorful scenery, and fun play pieces let little farmers take their imaginations for a spin.

‼️HOLIDAY CLOSURE‼️

The Williston Community Library will be CLOSED Saturday, September 5th through Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 8th at 9 AM.

The book drop will remain open for anyone needing to return library materials.

Happy Wednesday, library friends! ✨

We are currently looking 👀 for donations for our annual FRANKENTOYS STEAM program! 🎃🧸👻 We are in need of Barbies, stuffed animals, action figures, really just anything you might not need anymore. They can even be broken, banged up, colored on.. that's honestly how we want 'em! 😎

Donations can be dropped off at the library from NOW until the program, which will be held on Thursday, October 24, from 3:45-4:45pm. ‼️Please note: grown-ups WILL need to stay the entire time their child is in attendance for this particular program!
