• There are now 3 large active fires in Levy County – the Cow Creek Fire in Otter Creek and two fires near the Race Track in Bronson.

Comfort Center (Evacuation Support)
• RELOCATED to First Baptist Church Chiefland due to smoke and fires in Bronson
Location: 511 N Young Blvd, Chiefland
• Opened: 5:30 PM; Supported by the Red Cross
• For residents needing shelter due to evacuation
• Call the Citizen Information Line for transportation of ambulatory individuals
• Call 911 for transportation of nonambulatory individuals

Pet Shelter Information
• Pets will be transported from First Baptist Church Chiefland to Levy County Animal Services
• Bring proof of vaccination
• If unavailable, vaccinations will be provided on-site
