INTERESTED IN A WINSLOW FARMERS’ MARKET?

At the June 8th, 2026 Town Council meeting, a discussion was held regarding the possibility of establishing a Farmers’ Market in Winslow. The Town Council is seeking community members who may be interested in serving on a temporary workgroup. The purpose of the workgroup will be to:

• Determine whether there is sufficient community interest in a Farmers’ Market in Winslow
• Identify potential locations, including dates and time
• Review permitting requirements, insurance considerations, and logistical needs
• Develop findings and recommendations for presentation to the Town Council
Workgroups are temporary in nature and are generally active for 1-3 months while conducting fact-finding and research. If you are interested in participating, please contact Doris Labranche at

We encourage residents, local farmers, business owners, and anyone with an interest in supporting local agriculture and community events to get involved.

🚧 **Traffic Advisory – Road Work Update** 🚧

Beginning tomorrow (June 11, 2026), **milling operations** will take place on **Cushman Road** and are expected to last for **two days**.

Construction work on **Augusta Road** will also continue through next week.

Please use caution when traveling in these areas, watch for workers and equipment, and allow extra time for delays. If possible, consider using alternate routes.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the State Primary Election and School Budget Referendum, whether by voting in person or by absentee ballot!

The town saw a 32% voter turnout.

🗳️ **Election Day Reminder** 🗳️

The polls are open today from **8:00 AM to 8:00 PM** at the **VFW on Veterans Drive**.

📬 The absentee ballot drop box will be checked periodically throughout the day and one final time at **8:00 PM**. All absentee ballots returned by drop box must be deposited before 8:00 PM to be counted.

Please allow yourself enough time to vote, and remember that anyone in line by 8:00 PM will be able to cast their ballot.

Please be advised that Augusta Road is currently reduced to one lane between Gail Street and Lithgow Street due to road construction.
