Woodbine Main Street Promote historic preservation, champion hometown vitality, and build community partnerships Woodbine Main Street Station is home to the Main Street office.

Rent the Community Meeting Room in the old garage space for private or community events. Private foundation grants, city funding, and local donations made the historic canopy gas station rehab possible in 2011. The station office and the 1940's garage were joined with a new construction wing with restrooms. Keeping the feel of an old station on the Lincoln Highway, the old auto lift serves as a pe

destal for a glass topped conference table, the old garage doors are anchored to the ceiling in the "up" position, and the old concrete floors keep the station parked firmly in 1928 when the station was built and sold White Rose gasoline.

We’re proud to share that Main Street America has announced 1,291 nationally designated Main Street programs for 2026, recognizing communities committed to preservation-based economic development and revitalization through the Main Street Approach™. In 2025 alone, Main Street America programs helped generate more than 6,900 new businesses, rehabilitate 10,623 historic buildings, and achieved a record-breaking $9.4 billion in local reinvestment across the country.

Woodbine Main Street is honored to be part of this incredible network working to keep our downtown thriving. In 2025, our community made a tremendous impact right here in Woodbine. These accomplishments are only possible because of the dedication of our volunteers, business owners, community partners, and supporters who continue to invest in the future of Woodbine. Thank you for helping make our downtown a vibrant place to live, work, and visit!

Don't forget- Tomorrow!

This historic preservation project supported by the USDA, Iowa Area Development Group, Rural Electric Cooperative partners, Iowa Economic Development Authority Catalyst Grant funding, the City of Woodbine , and Woodbine Main Street is finally complete!

Now home to Trackside Veterinary Clinic , this project represents hard work, dedication, and the preservation of an important “slice” of our Main Street history.

Join us on May 13 for their Open House as we celebrate this exciting new chapter for downtown Woodbine!

This past Thursday, Woodbine Main Street had the honor of attending the 2026 Main Street Iowa Development Awards alongside communities from across the state who are making a difference through revitalization, leadership, and hometown pride.

The evening was filled with exciting news, inspiring projects, and stories of progress happening in Main Street communities all across Iowa. It was a wonderful reminder of what can happen when people come together with a shared vision for their hometowns. And while we celebrated 40 years of Main Street Iowa, we also proudly celebrate 18 years of community commitment, volunteerism, growth, and hometown pride as an accredited Main Street Community.

While at the awards ceremony, our very own Chris Lenning was honored with the Leadership Award. His dedication, passion, and commitment to Woodbine continues to make a lasting impact and help move our community forward each and every day.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Woodbine Main Street and believes in the future of our community. None of this would be possible without our incredible volunteers, dedicated supporters, local businesses, and community members who give their time, energy, and passion to help Woodbine thrive.

Owned and operated by Rachael Breyfogle, BeWellness specializes in Sports Orthopedic & Medical Massage Therapy, with an adjunct background in yoga and somatic therapies. With 18 years of experience, Rachael recently relocated her business from Mapleton to Woodbine in September 2025.

BeWellness focuses on functional movement patterns and creating healthy daily habits that support physical and emotional wellness. Rachael is also looking forward to offering group yoga classes for adults and children this summer! Her space is open by appointment.
