2026 Rita Patz Good Neighbor Award Goes to York Fresh Food Farms!🎉💚🎉

Rebecca Franz, Program Coordinator of Oasis House York, spoke at the Annual Celebration about the empowering partnership York Fresh Food Farms has created with the Clubhouse.

She shared, “York Fresh Food Farms is a great example of how community partnerships can create purposeful Transitional Employment opportunities.”

Through collaboration with Oasis House, York Fresh Food Farms secured grant funding to create a new Transitional Employment position specifically for Clubhouse members.

“This partnership has created a valued employer relationship and a wonderful opportunity for members to gain work experience, build confidence, develop new skills, and strengthen their employment history,” Rebecca explained.

What makes this partnership even more special is how beautifully York Fresh Food Farms mission aligns with the Clubhouse’s focus on wellness. When organizations come together to create opportunities, the impact reaches even further.

👻🎃 A Little Spooky Fun with A.I.M.! 🎃👻

Our A.I.M. (Always Include Me) Program kicked off Spirit Week with a spooky ghost hunt! 👻 Individuals had a great time searching for ghosts, discovering surprises, and enjoying some Halloween fun together.

This is just the beginning! 🎉 We’re excited to see what other fantastic activities Spirit Week has in store!

☀️ Fair Parking, Ocean Air & Memories to Last a Lifetime! 🌊

The Drop In’s summer Fair Parking fundraiser led to an amazing experience. Thanks to everyone who supported them, the Travel Club enjoyed a few days at Ocean City and Assateague Island! 🏖️

From the beach to new adventures and beloved traditions, it was filled with relaxation and fun. No one was quite ready to leave! 😎

Sometimes, we all need a little getaway to step away from everyday stresses and make memories with great people. The Drop In Travel Club got to do just that!

When Kali first joined our’ Social Recreation Program, she rarely interacted with others. Four years later, she’s building friendships, discovering new ways to communicate, gaining independence, and sharing more of her sweet personality with the people around her.

One of the most special changes? Kali has started giving hugs to the people she cares about! Can you imagine the joy felt in receiving one of those first hugs?🥰
