Happy 25th Anniversary Dokufest! A fantastic evening in Prizren marking the success of the 25th edition of DokuFest. 🇬🇧🎬

The UK's contribution this year is among our largest ever, with 30 productions and co-productions featured in the programme, including films by Sophie Fiennes and Mark Cousins.

DokuFest has a unique ability to light up Prizren and inspire audiences across Kosovo and beyond through film, creativity and cultural exchange. Congratulations on reaching this remarkable milestone. 👏🎉

🇬🇧 The British Corner is in full swing at Sunny Hill Festival!

From iconic British touches to great music and festival energy, it has been brilliant to see so many people stopping by, taking photos and celebrating the UK-Kosovo friendship with us. I was delighted to share the experience with my children and their friends visiting Kosovo for the first time, enjoying everything the festival has to offer.

Olivier Guerot has been a wonderful friend and colleague and distinguished representative of 🇫🇷. I have been grateful to work with him in supporting 🇽🇰 role in security and prosperity in this region. I was honoured to thank him and wish him farewell last night at 🇬🇧 Residence.

Great to visit the UK-Kosovo Tech Hub today alongside Acting Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation Mimoza Kusari-Lila and Minister of Digitalisation and Public Administration Lulezon Jagxhiu, and to meet some of Kosovo’s most innovative tech companies working with partners in the UK. We had a valuable discussion on the opportunities and challenges of doing business with UK companies and heard inspiring stories from businesses already building successful partnerships, expanding into new markets, and creating high-value jobs.

These conversations reinforce my confidence that the UK-Kosovo Tech Hub will help accelerate innovation, collaboration, and trade between our two countries. European security is at the heart of the deep UK-Kosovo friendship. Good discussions today with KSF Commander Lt Gen Bashkim Jashari and Acting Defence Minister Maqedonci, alongside our Defence Attaché and Defence Advisor. We reaffirmed our commitment to supporting the continued development of the Kosovo Security Force, its alignment with NATO standards and structures, and strengthening cooperation with the UK Armed Forces. Our cooperation is helping to build a safer and more secure future for Kosovo and the wider region.

A British success story, powered by Kosovo talent.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting Alexander Chapman Recruitment, a top-notch British company that has quietly built something remarkable right here in Pristina. From an office in Kosovo, their team serves clients in the most competitive markets in the world, and they do it brilliantly.

Two hours flew by. I met an ambitious management team and a wider group of more than 110 people, most of them young Kosovans who are proving every day that talent here is world class. British business acumen, Kosovo brainpower, global reach. That is a winning combination.

Companies like Alexander Chapman show what the UK and Kosovo can achieve together. I left inspired, and very proud of what they have built.
