Celebrating Creativity and Vision at Alexandra High School

Last Thursday evening, our school community gathered for the 2026 Matric Art Exhibition, "The Weight of the Room."

It was an unforgettable celebration of our learners' dedication, vision, and artistic growth.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our special guest speaker, Nzama, for inspiring our learners and sharing such profound insights with our community.

A special thank you to our wonderful parents for coming out in your numbers to support our talented young artists. We also want to express our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated staff for your hard work and involvement in making the exhibition such a resounding success.
Your incredible teamwork created a truly proud milestone for our matrics as they showcased their art!

GOLD MEDALISTS 🏅✨

Last Friday our choir took part in the Eisteddfod and we came home with GOLD - 94%

All those rehearsals, late afternoons and teamwork paid off. We are SO proud of every single voice

Debating Wrap-Up: A Season to Remember! 🏆

The 2026 debating season has been nothing short of extraordinary. Alexandra High School debaters have shown incredible resilience, courage, and unwavering commitment throughout every round in the Pietermaritzburg debating league.

This past Thursday was a moment our entire school community had been waiting for. THE FINALS!.

Alex faced St. Nicholas in a thrilling final and brought the cup back home!

After being away since 2015, the trophy has finally returned to where it belongs. This historic moment was made possible through years of perseverance, hard work, and belief.

A heartfelt thank you to our brilliant debaters, coaches, parents, and supporters.

A very special thank you to our managers, Ms. Langa and Mr. Nxumalo, who have been there through it all.
