We offer both group & private lessons at our new 450sq meter indoor skatepark in Cresta Shopping Centre. This is also Johannesburg's only indoor skate park. Our skate park is also open to the public for sessions when we are not teaching. About the Coach:
My name is Shayne Robinson and I have been skating for over 30 years, be that on a skateboard, rollerblades, roller skates or ice skates. I have
always been into alternative sports that have a little bit of an adrenaline rush attached to them. I have always been a little bit of a loaner and these sports were a perfect fit for someone who was a โlittle differentโ ;)
In my younger years, I was a sponsored skateboarder, 5 times South Africa Aggressive Rollerblade champion and I represented South Africa at the Inline Hockey World Championships in Chicago. I have a passion for skating and a passion for teaching, so this seemed like the next logical step for me. The aim of The Skate School is to get more children, especially girls into skating, be that on a skateboard, roller skates or rollerblades. However, I am also really keen to teach adults as well, so if you want to learn then this is the place for you. I look forward to sharing my love of skating with all of you.
