Mamusa Sub-District holds its first meeting.

Presenting the New Governance Structure for Mamusa Sub-District. The Mamusa Sub-District Governance Structure was formally created to facilitate better health service delivery throughout the Sub-District, to encourage community involvement, and strengthen healthcare governance. In order to address health-related issues and guarantee that all community members have access to high-quality healthcare services, the governance structure brings together representatives from healthcare facilities, local government, community stakeholders, and other important sectors.

The governance structure will act as a link between healthcare organisations and the communities they serve by fostering active participation, accountability, and collaboration. This will provide the community a voice in healthcare decision-making. We congratulate all recently appointed members and wish them
well as they take on this significant role.

Newly Appointed Hospital Board Members by the MEC for Health in North West Mr Sello Lehari, Officially Commence Term of Office

The Hospital management proudly announces the appointment of the new Board Members, whose term of office officially commenced on 1 May 2026 and will conclude on 29 April 2029. The appointment of the Board marks an important milestone in strengthening governance, accountability, and strategic oversight within the institution.

The newly appointed Board held its first meeting on 21 May 2026 at the Hospital Boardroom. The meeting served as an important platform to introduce members to the operations, services, strategic direction and staff members of the Hospital.

During the session, Board Members were presented with an orientation on the package of services offered by the Hospital. The orientation provided valuable insight into the Hospital’s healthcare programmes, patient care services, operational structures, and key priorities aimed at improving healthcare delivery to the community.

As part of the programme, the Board Members also conducted a walkabout of the Hospital alongside the Hospital Management Team. The walkabout afforded members an opportunity to familiarize themselves with various departments, engage with management, and gain first-hand understanding of the Hospital environment, service delivery processes, and areas requiring continued support and development.

The Hospital Management Team welcomed the newly appointed Board and expressed confidence in the Board’s ability to provide effective leadership, governance, and support during its three-year term. The collaborative relationship between the Board and Management is expected to contribute positively towards strengthening healthcare services and enhancing patient experience within the institution.

The Hospital looks forward to working closely with the Board Members in advancing the organisation’s vision, promoting good governance, and ensuring quality healthcare services for all communities served by the Hospital.
