Not everyone is who they say they are online. The United States is working to protect children from sextortion, a growing crime harming children in the United States and around the world.

That’s why at this year’s Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, the United States is putting forward a resolution to help make our children safer. We are fighting against this despicable crime as a global law enforcement priority, driving stronger international cooperation and deeper engagement with the private sector to disrupt these networks and protect our children.

Protecting children comes first.

American excellence returns home! The NASA Artemis Mission Astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen splashed down safely off the shores of San Diego today after traveling 252,756 miles from Earth into lunar orbit. America is leading the way back to the Moon! 🌙🇺🇸

Programs like the Exchange Programs - U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program strengthen the international expertise and partnerships needed to dismantle the criminal organizations that perpetuate human trafficking. UNODC - United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Crime Prevention Officer and recent IVLP Alline Pedra Jorge is part of that effort, helping drive tougher cross-border cooperation that protects vulnerable people and makes 🇺🇸 safer.
