IVLP Alumni Spotlight: Antonino Tedesco 🌍
We are proud to recognize Antonino Tedesco, Counsellor at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, as a recent participant in the U.S. – European Security Challenges International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).
✈️ His journey took him through Washington, D.C., San Diego, Lincoln (Nebraska), and Colorado Springs, with highlights including meetings at the U.S. Department of State and Department of Defense on transatlantic security cooperation, a visit to U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) at Offutt Air Force Base, discussions on cutting-edge defense and aerospace innovation at Catalyst Campus, and an exploration of U.S. cybersecurity strategy at the National Cybersecurity Center. These experiences offered him firsthand insight into how the United States approaches defense policy, homeland security, strategic deterrence, and the evolving challenges of space and cyber domains — perspectives he will bring directly to his work advancing Italy’s foreign policy priorities.
