With Halloween this Saturday, why not try some easy Halloween-themed sensory play at home with your little ones?
🕷️ Halloween lentil sensory tray
Add green lentils, orange split lentils and black beans to a tray, then pop in some Halloween toys, mini pumpkins, scoops and containers for little hands to explore.
🧙 Fizzy witches cauldron
Add a few spoonfuls of bicarb soda to a bowl or cauldron, mix vinegar with a little food colouring, then pour and watch the fizzy magic happen! A simple activity full of exciting sights, sounds and reactions.
Sensory play is a wonderful way for children to explore textures, practise fine motor skills, spark curiosity and learn through play.
✨ The best part? You don’t need fancy equipment or expensive supplies to create a little Halloween magic at home!
A little reminder: Always supervise children closely during sensory play, especially when using small items such as lentils and beans, and keep vinegar and bicarb mixtures away from little eyes and mouths.
