Today is R U OK? Day, a reminder that we're stronger when we lean on each other, and that looking out for our mob is something that matters every day.
Staff across our communities joined Head Office in Alice Springs via Teams for a chat about what checking in on each other really means at MRC, and why supporting our staff, families and communities matters so much. We also watched a short R U OK? video together, with everyone enjoying a morning tea and a treat along the way.
Looking out for one another isn't new to us, it's part of how community works. R U OK? Day is a great chance to start the conversation, but yarning and checking in shouldn't stop there. A simple "are you OK?" and taking the time to really listen can make all the difference, so we encourage everyone to keep having these yarns, any day.
