🌳 Shifting Conversation to Action 🌳

This Wednesday, 9 September, we’ll be at Bega Showgrounds coming together with other ECEC services and community organisations to showcase a Forest of Action. 💚

As part of this year’s Child Protection Week theme, “Shifting Conversation to Action,” we’ll be celebrating and amplifying children’s voices, sharing their creativity, artwork and ideas about keeping children safe, heard and supported. 🎨🗣️✨

🌿 Exploring the Bundian Way for Aboriginal Children’s Day 🌿

We set off on a journey to explore the Bundian Way as part of our Aboriginal Children’s Day celebrations.

The Bundian Way forms part of a wider network of Aboriginal pathways connecting to each other.

As we walked, we discovered a fascinating variety of natural and man-made items along the way. Our adventure sparked many questions and conversations about the environment, the ocean and the deep cultural connections to Country.

It was a wonderful opportunity to explore, learn and connect with Country together. 💚🌊🌿

🚛 Health Check Convoy 2026 is coming to Southern NSW!

Free health and wellbeing services will be available across Southern NSW from 3–7 August 2026, making it easier for people to access important health services close to home.

Drop in between 10am and 3pm and access a range of free services, including:
✅ Skin checks
✅ Heart health, blood pressure, weight and BMI checks
✅ Mental health support
✅ Health information
✅ Dental checks
✅ A mobile mental health service providing free haircuts, beauty services and counselling
✅ A safe space to chat and connect with support services

Delivered through a partnership between COORDINARE and local health and community service providers, the Health Check Convoy brings healthcare and support services directly into local communities.

📍 Goulburn – Monday 3 August – Location: Picnic area, Goulburn showground, Braidwood Rd, Goulburn
📍 Moruya – Tuesday 4 August – Location: Riverside Park, Church St, Moruya
