𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 – 𝗘𝗢𝗜𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻

Expressions of Interest are now open for the South Australian Tourism Commission’s Experience Development Program, with upcoming sessions specifically for tourism operators in the Riverland and Murray River, Lakes & Coorong regions.

The free program supports tourism businesses to develop a distinctive, bookable visitor experience, with practical guidance to help make it compelling, inclusive, sustainable and competitive.

Only eight businesses will be selected, with up to two people able to participate from each business. While operators from other regions can apply, preference will be given to Riverland and MRLC businesses.

If you’ve been thinking about developing a new experience or strengthening an existing one, this is a great opportunity to get some hands-on support.

📘 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆
Book Week brought a special visit to Barmera Library today, with Mayor Ella Winnall and CEO Tim Pfeiffer reading to reception, year 1 and year 2 students from St Joseph's School Barmera.

Tim was particularly happy to have the chance to read his favourite children’s book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

The students were an enthusiastic audience, making for a lovely morning celebrating books, reading and storytelling.

A big thank you to the teachers and parents who put in the time and effort to make Book Week special for the students in our community.

📣 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀
You may have noticed new 40km/h time-based school speed limit signs along Crawford Terrace, Berri.

The road is part of the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) road network, with DIT responsible for the speed limit change and associated signage.

Please take care around our schools and remember to observe the new 40km/h speed limit during the times shown on the signs.
