ENGLISH ADVENTURES

Our Year 12 English students are stepping into the world of Shakespeare as they study Othello.

Thanks to Ms McKay students have been getting into character, chosen creative props to represent their characters, bringing their learning to life in a fun and engaging way.

It’s a great example of the creativity, collaboration and different ways students can explore English at Biloela State High School.

JBOYS TOUCH GAME | 10 YEARS ON

In remembrance of Jimmy Bryant, we take to the fields for the annual battle of Teachers vs Year 12 Students.

Jimmy’s legacy has left behind a fierce competition, and the bragging rights are currently in the hands of the students!

This year marks 10 years since Jimmy’s passing, and it’s a special opportunity for our school community to come together, remember Jimmy and celebrate the legacy he left behind.

A huge thank you to the Callide Valley Touch Association for hosting this great game and supporting this special tradition.

INFORMATION EVENING

Thank you to all of our parents and carers who were able to join us for our Year 9 and 10 Subject Information Evening on Thursday 13 August. 💙
It was wonderful to have so many families involved as our students begin thinking about their subject choices for 2027.

A copy of the information presented on the evening, along with the relevant Subject Guide, will be provided to students to bring home if you were unable to attend.

We encourage families to take some time to chat with your child about the available options and the subjects that may best support their interests, strengths and future goals.
